Registrations for the functional analyst training course are open until 15 January.

The initiative of the Emilia Romagna Region, thanks also to the contribution of the European Social Fund, to promote the Academies set up in companies, offered the opportunity for the creation of a partnership between IFOA - the training and employment agency of Chambers of Commerce - and two companies of great importance in the region such as CRIF - a company specializing in credit information and business information systems, outsourcing and processing services and credit solutions - and NOMISMA - an economic research and consultancy company. This collaboration intends to give a concrete response to the shortage of personnel with specialist IT and digital skills in the field of economic-financial consultancy and has led to the creation of training courses for "Functional Analyst" and "Big Data Analyst", aimed at introducing carefully selected and trained professionals in the economic-financial sector.

Registration for the functional analyst training course, which is completely free and financed by the Emilia Romagna Region and the ESF, is open until next January 15th. The course includes 500 hours of training: 300 hours of theory at the IFOA headquarters in Bologna and 200 hours of internship to be carried out at the CRIF and NOMISMA offices, also in Bologna.

"This operation - explains Umberto Lonardoni, Director of IFOA - is a clear example of collaboration between the training system and the entrepreneurial system, aimed at the establishment of a training infrastructure capable of promoting the systemic implementation of a knowledge implementation model and hard-to-find skills. The involvement of two important realities such as the CRIF group and NOMISMA, already started in the planning phase, has made it possible to carry out an in-depth analysis of the evolutionary trends taking place in the ICT-digital world and economic-financial consultancy, building specific paths. We had evidence from the presentation of data from the Excelsior research edited by Unioncamere and Anpal, of how in Italy there is a problem for companies to intercept the skills appropriate to their needs, especially in the technological field also connected to Industry 4.0. This model that unites companies and training professionals in building specific paths can be an answer".
